Currently Dr. khater is working as a secretary general of the National Water Research Center (NWRC). He holds a Ph.D. degree in water use and management from Tottori University, Japan. His work experience covers Egypt, Africa, Middle East and Japan. Through his nearly 16-year career, he gained experience in river engineering, numerical modeling, physical modelling, water use and management. He has attended Scientific conferences and Research sessions in Japan, China, Greece, Egypt and DRC, published over 50 refereed/conference papers and technical reports, and acquired valuable teaching experience nationally and internationally. Dr. khater Works as a teaching lecturer for many of short courses organized by NWRC. He also works as a supervisor and examiner for M.Sc. and Ph.D. students.
